"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination."
Benefits of Psychotherapy
Do you ever feel too overwhelmed to deal with your problems? If so, you're not alone. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than a quarter of American adults experience depression, anxiety or another mental disorder in any given year. Others may need support dealing with a loss, serious illness, relationship issues, unemployment or chronic stress. According to the American Psychological Association, “Psychologists help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more productive lives.” Through collaborative psychotherapy we develop transformative habits that help you to cope with life’s inevitable challenges. Our sessions are designed to meet you where you are and support the building of new skills and healthy coping strategies, while promoting your strengths and building resilience.
Since 2003, I have worked extensively with those in the creative, legal, health care, social services and education fields facing issues including chronic stress, creative blocks, anxiety and depression.
